From October 24-27, 2023, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) participated in the ASIC Annual Conference in Dubai, where university representatives engaged in discussions about digital quality assurance and international education assessment aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event provided a platform for RMUTL to share insights on sustainable development and community innovation, while also showcasing local products like Chiang Da tea, which was developed through the university’s U2T project. The university’s participation not only enhanced its global network but also promoted international awareness of sustainable community development practices.
The conference aligns with international collaboration on gathering and measuring data for the SDGs, as RMUTL contributed to discussions on educational quality assurance linked to global sustainability goals. Presenting projects related to local innovation and development, along with receiving awards for community care and innovation, demonstrated the university’s commitment to addressing SDG targets through real-world impact. This involvement in a global forum facilitated the exchange of strategies and data related to sustainable practices, further strengthening RMUTL’s role in the international effort to achieve the SDGs.
