From March 3-16, 2024, thirty students from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) participated in the first TF SCALE program at Singapore Polytechnic, under the guidance of Dr. Peeratham Techapalakul and Lecturer Sumana Sorathiwa. Sponsored by Temasek Foundation, the program covered travel, accommodation, and participation costs, allowing students to engage in international collaboration aimed at developing leadership skills and community innovation through Design Thinking. The project focused on creating solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in addressing community needs and fostering international networks for sustainable development.
This initiative reflects RMUTL’s commitment to collaborating with NGOs to tackle the SDGs. The partnership with Temasek Foundation provided students with an opportunity to work on SDG-related projects, specifically focusing on community well-being and health. By organizing a second session of the program at RMUTL in September, focusing on SDG themes related to health and well-being, the university extends its efforts to foster sustainable development and international cooperation, building a strong foundation for tackling global challenges through cross-sectoral partnerships.
