The RMUTL delegation was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Worajak Muangjai, Director of the Community Technology Transfer Centre, together with Assistant Professor Montri Ngaodej and Mr. Naris Kamphaengkaew, a researcher from the Clean Energy System Research Unit, Faculty of Engineering.
The meeting brought together representatives from the university and the Royal Project Foundation to explore opportunities for integrated research addressing the needs of highland communities.
Discussions focused on identifying research priorities, combining institutional expertise, and developing practical research proposals that could contribute to sustainable development in Royal Project areas.
The participating organizations also explored opportunities to integrate academic knowledge, technological innovation, and available resources to address development challenges affecting local communities.
The consultation marked an initial step toward the formulation of collaborative research proposals involving RMUTL, the Royal Project Foundation, and EGAT.
Through this NGO–university research partnership, RMUTL aims to strengthen collaborative research programmes that connect scientific knowledge and technological innovation with the social, economic, and environmental needs of highland communities.
The initiative reflects the university’s continued commitment to working with nonprofit development organizations and other stakeholders to support sustainable community development through research and innovation.
