The Faculty of Arts and Architecture at RMUTL actively promotes public access to museums, exhibition spaces, and works of art by organizing 16 free exhibitions throughout 2024 at the Art and Culture Exhibition Hall on campus. These exhibitions were open to all visitors, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to ensuring inclusive access to cultural and artistic experiences. The showcased works ranged across disciplines such as industrial design, fashion, visual arts, sculpture, printmaking, media art, and traditional Thai arts, providing the public with opportunities to engage directly with creative works and artistic innovation.
Among the highlights were student showcases such as “ART I FACT” from Industrial Design, “The Flow of Time Fashion Week 2025” from Fashion and Textile Design, and the “Art Thesis Exhibition 2025”, which featured outstanding works from the Thai Art, Sculpture, and Printmaking majors. The Thai Art program, in particular, stood out for its unique integration of local identity, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage—preserving traditional aesthetics while exploring new interpretations that connect the past with modern creativity. These exhibitions reflected the Faculty’s role in sustaining cultural continuity and inspiring new generations of artists.
In addition, international collaboration was strengthened through the “RMUTL International Arts Design & Architecture Workshops and Exhibition 2024”, a creative exchange program involving partner universities in Thailand and abroad. This initiative provided a platform for cross-cultural dialogue and global artistic exploration, showcasing how art education can foster international understanding. Through these open-access initiatives, the Faculty continues to enrich the cultural landscape and inspire public engagement with art and design, strengthened community engagement and promoted a shared appreciation for art, design, and cultural expression as integral parts of a thriving and inclusive society.
